This show was a GD whirlwind and I loved every single moment of it. Earth has been my #2 favorite actor in this genre since day one and I will literally fight you if you say anything bad about him ever. *AHEM*
The show starts with a very standard storyline. Two best friends. One with severe unrequited love syndrome. Though, this story tells their journey so beautifully that you get completely enveloped in their emotions.
Santa in this role is probably the best acting I've seen in 2022 beside Gun in Not Me. This kid turned 18, debuted in a lead role, and knocked it OUT of the park... deserves every award possible.
I will issue a word of warning though. Keep the tissues handy, this one is a hefty one but I feel like that was just to be expected with someone like Earth as the lead.
I had a couple of gripes throughout the show with jealousy and possessiveness but with how young the characters are in the show I decided to not judge them too harshly. Even though they leaned into it more than resolved it, it's the only issue I have with the show.
